Champions League qualifier and German Cup winner Borussia Dortmund (BVB 09) and Just Football App (JF) have announced a strategic partnership to launch a Football Challenge Campaign in Vietnam starting today.
The objective of this cooperation is to build solidarity and engage the young generation in Vietnam by bringing the fans closer to the players with Just Football App. The partnership will provide everyone in Vietnam with an opportunity to learn football skills from Borussia Dortmund professional players and legends as well as local freestylers with the aim of inspiring more people to be active and play football.
The campaign is part of Borussia Dortmund’s virtual summer Tour 2021 and will give everyone in Vietnam the chance to win amazing prizes from the club by completing football challenges.
“I am delighted to establish this relationship with Just Football which comes at a particularly exciting time where we focus much more these days on content creation and digitalization” explains Suresh Letchmanan, BVB Managing Director for Asia Pacific.
With parts of Vietnam in lockdown BVB’s and Just Football App’s goal is to inspire players to be active from home with 09 different challenges players can play anywhere, anytime. All they need is a ball and the Just Football app.
In the app, users will find video tutorials presented by BVB legends including World Cup winner Karl-Heinz Riedle showing them how to master headers with Patrick Owomoyela. First team players Felix Passlack and Luca Unbehaun show off their skills with a Da Cau which is an iconic traditional game in Vietnam. Also presenting challenges are local Vietnamese freestylers Tungage, Phatfreestyle and Thyfreestyle who will perform many cool stay-at-home challenges such as crossover, Issy Akka, bottle trickshot and many more.
By playing the challenges and sharing their videos in the app, users have the chance to win incredible prizes from BVB including a jersey signed by the first team and merchandise such as BVB balls, caps and scarfs.
In addition to that, users can unlock a digital version of the BVB kit which they can equip on their avatar in Just Football and show their support to the club.

The campaign will run for a number of weeks, starting on July 16th, 2021.
