Borussia Dortmund X Just Football App: Getting people active from home during the lockdown in Vietnam

We teamed with Borussia Dortmund to engage fans in Vietnam and get people playing football from home during the lockdown.

BVB created 9 custom Challenges in the Just Football app filming tutorials with first team players, legends, youth players and local influencers showing users how to master football skills. From a local sport “da cau” to kick-up challenges or stay-at-home freestyle football skills, users could easily follow tutorials and submit their own videos to unlock a digital BVB jersey and win different prizes from the club such as signed jerseys from BVB stars and official merchandise.

The campaign created a safe playground for football fans to be inspired, share their skills and get active during the lockdown. The response was incredible, we witnessed awesome videos being uploaded in the app and the partnership was featured in local and national press with more than 200,000 views on the content we produced with influencers.

As well as the amazing prizes the top 2 players also received personal video messages from first-team star Gio Reyna congratulating them on their skills and achievements in the app.
